Short version: we collect what we need to send you a book and run the business, we don't sell it, and you can have it deleted whenever you want.
Who we are
The Winner Forge is a brand and publishing name used by the operator of thewinnerforge.com. For privacy questions, requests, or concerns, contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Order information. Name, email, shipping address, and what you bought. Needed to fulfil the order.
- Payment information. Handled entirely by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Email address, if you request the Forge Score or opt into updates.
- Usage data — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, referring site. Only if you accept cookies.
Why we collect it
- To take payment, print, pack and ship your order — performance of a contract.
- To email you about your order — performance of a contract.
- To send you the Forge Score and launch updates — your consent, withdrawable at any time.
- To understand which pages and ads work — your consent, via the cookie banner.
- To meet tax and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
Who we share it with
Only the services that make the business run:
- Payment processing — to take payment and handle refunds.
- Print and fulfilment — your name and shipping address, so a book can reach you.
- Email provider — to send order and marketing emails.
- Analytics and advertising — Google Analytics, Meta and TikTok, only if you accept cookies.
We do not sell your personal information. We don't trade or rent lists.
Cookies
Nothing but the page itself loads until you choose. Decline and no analytics or advertising cookies are set at all.
- Essential — remembering your cookie choice and keeping checkout working. Always on.
- Analytics — Google Analytics, so we can see which parts of the page people actually read.
- Advertising — Meta and TikTok pixels, so we can measure ads and show them to relevant people.
To change your mind later, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will ask again.
How long we keep it
- Order records: seven years, for tax purposes.
- Marketing email addresses: until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics data: 14 months.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Correct anything wrong
- Delete it
- Send you a copy in a portable format
- Stop using it for marketing
Email [email protected] and we'll action it within 30 days. We won't charge you and we won't treat you differently for asking.
If you're in the UK or EU, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. If you're in California, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale — we don't sell data, so the last one is already covered.
Marketing emails
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link and it works immediately. Order-related emails aren't marketing and can't be unsubscribed from while an order is open.
Children
This site isn't directed at anyone under 16 and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Payment data never touches our servers. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't claim otherwise — but we hold as little as we can get away with, which is the most effective protection there is.
International transfers
Some providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we'll update the date at the top and, where it affects you, email you. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.
